Karen R. Geibel
Karen’s practice focuses on the defense of general and automobile litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Staff Attorney to the Honorable Rudy Nichols (retired) and the Honorable Dennis Drury (retired) in the Oakland County Circuit Court for over a decade. Her main job responsibilities involved researching legal issues, writing opinions, conducting settlement conferences and managing litigation in a general jurisdiction court. Karen also previously practiced insurance defense at a private firm and served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Oakland County Circuit Court while attending law school.

Karen is a volunteer Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan High School Mock Trial Tournament held annually each spring. She also assists students during a mock trial for Constitutional Day at the Oakland County Circuit Court. Karen is a Catechist at St. Kieran church, is active in the Rochester Junior Woman’s Club and a Board member for the Romeo Girls Softball league where she serves as both Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer.
