Slank Secures Cross Appeal in Michigan Court of Appeals

Noreen Slank secured a cross-appeal result in Michigan’s Court of Appeals that significantly trimmed the plaintiff’s theories and damages in the medical malpractice case of Aldrich v Mid-Michigan Medical Center, COA #281553. The argument that the causation proofs were defective succeeded, despite recent changes in the law related to affidavits of merit and notices of intent that undercut those defenses.
