Collins Einhorn Farrell PC is pleased to announce that our colleague Neil W. MacCallum has been named a 2015 Leader in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. MacCallum, selected for his dedication, leadership, and going above and beyond the call in support of his clients and his firm, is one of 30 distinguished lawyers who were chosen to receive this prestigious award. “They are the lawyers in Michigan setting the example for other lawyers,” writes Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s James K. Williams, Jr.
MacCallum, the co-managing shareholder of the firm, has worked in the legal industry for over three decades. He focuses his practice on the defense of asbestos personal injury and property damage, other toxic tort matters, general personal injury and property damage claims. In addition to managing the firm’s recent growth and success, MacCallum has also become a recognized leader in his area of practice. Neil’s skills have enabled him to assist his clients in navigating the legal system, while simultaneously working with the courts to help create one of the nation’s most efficient asbestos litigation dockets.
MacCallum is regarded as a leader by his clients, colleagues, and in his community. He is involved in a number of groups and associations, including serving as an appointed member in the Wayne County Circuit Court Steering Committee for Asbestos Litigation. MacCallum also serves as coordinating counsel in asbestos litigation throughout the state.
“Clients don’t just look to Neil as a problem solver, they look to him as a partner, who understands their business and how best to represent their interests,” states Michael J. Sullivan, President of Collins Einhorn Farrell PC. “Because of Neil’s leadership and the impact that he has made, Neil has earned the respect and gratitude of everyone he has worked with both inside and outside of the firm. His selection as a 2015 Leader in the Law is well deserved.”
MacCallum will be formally honed at an awards ceremony hosted by Michigan Lawyers Weekly on March 26th, 2015, at Detroit Marriott Troy, and will be profiled in the March 30th edition of Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
