Karen R. Geibel, partner of Collins Einhorn Farrell, PC, has been elected President of the Rochester Junior Women’s Club, an affiliate of the international organization General Federation of Women’s Club.
The 100-member group provides volunteer hours and community support in the Rochester and surrounding area as well as fundraising for local non-profits. The club recently granted $25,000 to local charities. Under Geibel’s leadership, Rochester Junior Women’s Club is raising funds to support children in two organizations: Friends of Foster Kids and Blessings in a Backpack – Avondale.
“I’ve always had a passion for public service and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t involved in a volunteer group,” says Geibel. The Rochester Junior Women’s Club has been in existence for over 60 years.
Geibel is a litigation attorney in the firm’s General and Auto Liability group and also handles the defense of ADA and Dram Shop claims. She holds many bar memberships and is an elected member of the Representative Assembly for the State Bar of Michigan. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Geibel worked in the public service sector as a Judicial Law Clerk and Staff Attorney in the Oakland County Circuit Court for 16 years.
