Collins Einhorn is proud to announce that Melanie T. Frazier has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of America’s lawyers. Membership is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishments in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
For more than 30 years, Melanie has focused her practice in all areas of general liability defense. She has handled suits arising from construction site accidents; trucking, motorcycle, and automobile accidents; product defects; employment disputes; premises liability; and first-party auto claims. Throughout her career, Melanie has been responsible for claims involving wrongful death, amputations, burns, sexual assault, and other suits involving high-risk and high-damage exposure. She has also handled trademark, trade secret, and patent litigation as lead and local counsel. Melanie has taken more than 100 cases to jury verdict throughout the state. She has also served as a case evaluator, arbitrator, and facilitator.
Melanie received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law in 1986. She went on to earn a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2008. Throughout her career, Melanie has received numerous recognitions. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has been recognized by Lawyers of Distinction, DBusiness Top Lawyers, America’s Top 100 Attorneys, and America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators.
