We are pleased to announce that Lynn B. Sholander has been elected to the Council of the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan. The APS Council is dedicated to developing and providing resources that improve all aspects of appellate practice and procedure.
Lynn’s interest in the APS Council is grounded in her longstanding commitment to appellate advocacy. Since graduating from Wayne State University Law School in 2014, her legal career has focused on appellate practice inside and outside the court system. Lynn began her journey at the Michigan Court of Appeals as a research attorney and judicial law clerk. In 2017, she transitioned to private practice, working as an appellate lawyer specializing in legal research and writing. Using her appellate experience, Lynn looks forward to making valuable contributions to the APS.
Lynn also contributes to other sections of the State Bar of Michigan, serving as a District I Character and Fitness Committee Member. Additionally, she is a member of the Detroit Bar Association and Oakland County Bar Association, serving as a Professional Development Committee Member.
