Ben graduated from Wayne State University Law School, cum laude, where he was a two-time national finalist in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and co-president of the Asian and Pacific American Law Student Association. A proud second-generation Chinese-American and first-generation lawyer, Ben is passionate about mentorship and diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the legal profession.
In his spare time, Ben is an assistant coach at the Plymouth/Ann Arbor Fencing Academy, where he teaches youth fencing classes, and regularly competes in local and regional competitions.
