MaryRachel Dysarz Recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a 2019 “Women in the Law”

We are pleased to announce that MaryRachel Dysarz has been named a 2019 Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Women in the Law Award recipient. The selection criteria included commitment to excellence in the practice of law, inspiring and accomplished leadership in the profession, mentoring, and significant contributions of time and effort to volunteer and pro bono activities. Dysarz is one of 30 distinguished lawyers who were chosen to receive this prestigious award.

As one of the youngest female partners at Collins Einhorn Farrell PC, Dysarz demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities with her commitment to rigorously defending clients’ interests, including fortune 500 companies and nationwide corporations. Dysarz focuses her practice on general liability and first-and third-party automotive defense. She provides clients with guidance through the litigation process, beginning from the discovery phase through trial. MaryRachel has vast experience preparing and successfully arguing motions for summary disposition on behalf of clients. In addition to her automotive liability background, MaryRachel has also handled medical/dental professional liability, premise liability, and general negligence cases.

Committed to using her legal career to serve our country and state, Dysarz is a Captain in the Michigan Army National Guard where she serves as a Judge Advocate General. She also devotes her time to giving back to the younger generation of attorneys by volunteering as a judge in the Michigan State College of Law’s ABA Regional Arbitration Competitions. Most recently, she also used her legal skills to contribute to fundraising efforts for orphans in poverty-stricken communities in Guatemala. Dysarz is also a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.

CEF President, Dan Collins, states: “Michigan Lawyers Weekly has chosen well! MaryRachel is tenacious in the defense of her clients’ interests but does so in a civil and professional fashion which should make all members of the bar proud.  Additionally, we are all appreciative and thankful for MaryRachel’s service to state & country as a JAG Officer in the National Guard.”

Dysarz will be formally honored at an awards ceremony hosted by Michigan Lawyers Weekly on September 5th, 2019 at Detroit Marriott Troy.
