Summary
Michael’s practice focuses on all aspects of the appellate process from briefing to oral argument. Before joining Collins Einhorn, Michael primarily practiced civil litigation, including defending municipalities and their employees in civil rights cases. In that role, he successfully argued appeals before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Michael’s breadth of legal experience includes criminal defense, family law, and serving as a judicial law clerk for Tuscola County Circuit Judge Hon. Amy Grace Gierhart. He has briefed and successfully argued dispositive motions in numerous circuit courts across Michigan.
