Mike is a strategic and empathetic advocate whose legal career is defined by a commitment to client service and informed decision-making. He entered the legal profession after beginning his career as a high school teacher. He was drawn to the profession by a desire to advocate for others on a broader scale and help clients navigate complex systems with confidence and clarity.

Today, Mike focuses his practice on all aspects of civil litigation. He specializes in the defense of professional liability claims and insurance coverage litigation. Mike’s legal experience spans a broad array of industries and issue areas. He has been shaped by roles in both government and private practice. Whether he’s defending against a claim or interpreting a tough regulatory issue, Mike combines sharp legal insight with a down-to-earth approach that makes clients feel heard and empowered.

Mike is known for his responsiveness, clear communication, and ability to break down complex legal issues into practical solutions. He values compassion, professionalism, and the importance of meeting clients where they are—qualities that reflect his roots in education and advocacy.

Away from his legal work, Mike enjoys golf (even when it doesn’t like him back), keeping his Spanish sharp with a 1,000+ day Duolingo streak, and dreaming up his next travel adventure.
