Sam G. Lamrock

12/01/2025

Summary

Sam became a lawyer because she always wanted a career helping others. While earning her undergraduate degree, she worked in the political science department at Kalamazoo College, where professors encouraged her to consider law school. With support from a first-generation student organization, she pursued that path and found a profession that aligns with her values and strengths.

At Collins Einhorn, Sam practices in the Appeals and Complex Motions group. She enjoys the constant growth the work offers and the chance to explore unique and challenging legal issues. Her approach is thoughtful, organized, and grounded in curiosity and precision. Before joining the firm, she gained experience in estate planning and probate, served as a corporate counsel extern, and worked with a public defender’s office.

During law school, Sam held several leadership roles and was active in service and student organizations. She continues that involvement through the Oakland County Bar Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, and the Detroit Bar Association. She is motivated by learning, community, and the opportunity to create real impact for clients.

Outside of her practice, Sam competes in Tetris and chess tournaments and hopes to visit Ireland someday. She is driven by her relationships and is always looking for opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
