Collins Einhorn names new managing shareholders
Collins Einhorn Farrell PC has announced that starting May 1, Daniel E. Collins and Theresa M. Asoklis will become the firm’s co-managing shareholders.
Asoklis and Collins will replace Neil W. MacCallum and Michael J. Sullivan, who spent 10 years as leaders and will remain with the Southfield firm.
“We’re going to strive to continue what’s already been started by our predecessors,” Asoklis said. “During the last 10 years, we’ve grown substantially from an office of maybe 20-something attorneys to almost 60.”
Asoklis is one of the leaders of the firm’s professional liability practice group. Collins is the son of firm founder Mort Collins, and helps lead the firm’s asbestos and toxic tort practice. He and Asoklis will be the firm’s third generation of leadership.
“The culture that my dad instilled in this firm when he started it was something he was always proud of,” Collins said. “It was a collegial atmosphere while everybody was responsible to client needs and doing excellent legal work. Having a firm culture that had everyone getting along and working together was something he was always tremendously proud of and I know Theresa and I want to continue that.”
