Summary

Stacia Godkin was drawn to the legal profession by her love of analytical thinking and complex problem-solving. She enjoys examining issues from multiple perspectives and developing strategic solutions that help clients navigate challenging situations. For Stacia, the practice of law offers the opportunity to engage with complex legal questions while making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Stacia’s litigation experience includes work in the personal injury protection (PIP) insurance field, where she developed an appreciation for the variety and complexity of issues that arise in insurance defense. She enjoys the challenge of learning new areas of the law while remaining grounded in the statutes, case law, and principles that guide effective advocacy. Her approach is rooted in preparation, professionalism, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Prior to entering private practice, Stacia served as a prosecutor, gaining valuable courtroom experience and insight into the human impact of the legal system. One of her most meaningful experiences involved helping secure a resolution that provided justice for a victim without requiring them to endure the stress of trial, reinforcing her belief that effective advocacy requires both skill and compassion.

Stacia earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
