Alexa P. Doria
Alexa P. Doria
Summary
Some people are drawn to the law for a single reason. For Alexa, it was the combination of a passion for problem-solving, a love of advocacy, and a desire to make a meaningful impact. With a background in Movement Science from the University of Michigan, Alexa developed a strong foundation in analyzing complex issues and applying thoughtful, real-world solutions. The legal profession offered a natural extension of those skills, paired with her longtime passion for public speaking and oral advocacy.
Alexa’s practice is rooted in litigation, where she has experience handling a variety of matters in the insurance defense space. She has worked across multiple jurisdictions and is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, with her Michigan license pending. This multi-state experience has strengthened her ability to quickly adapt to differing legal frameworks while maintaining a consistent, strategic approach to case development. Alexa enjoys the dynamic nature of litigation and the opportunity to build effective strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
In addition to her legal work, Alexa is passionate about mentorship and professional development. She has served as a mentor to new associates, helping them navigate the transition into practice by offering guidance, context, and support. Her commitment to helping others grow reflects her broader approach to the profession — one grounded in collaboration, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Outside of the office, Alexa has a deep appreciation for the arts. A classically trained dancer since the age of two, she continues to channel that creativity through her love of musical theater and live performances. Whether attending productions locally or on Broadway, she enjoys storytelling in all its forms. She also enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family, who remain her greatest source of motivation and support.
