Anthony Gonzalez is a professional liability attorney who enjoys the research, writing, and analysis that go into building a strong legal argument. He was drawn to the law through his interest in history and the legal system, which grew during his undergraduate studies in political science and continued through his experience in Moot Court. For Anthony, practicing law provides an opportunity to use those interests to help and defend people facing difficult situations.

Anthony approaches each matter with a focus on understanding the issues, developing well-supported arguments, and helping clients navigate the litigation process. One of his most satisfying victories came when he successfully obtained a pretrial order limiting an expert’s opinion on a central issue in a case. The experience was particularly rewarding and reinforced what he enjoys most about his practice.

For Anthony, some of the most meaningful work comes from guiding clients through litigation and helping them understand their options so they can make informed decisions. He values professionalism and collegiality and has found that professional courtesy can go a long way in navigating even challenging matters.

Anthony earned his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law and his B.S. in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University. Outside of work, he enjoys running, visiting museums, reading biographies and history, and exploring as much of the world as he can.
