Simonne Kapadia is an associate attorney in the firm’s Appellate Practice Group, where she focuses on civil appeals and dispositive motion practice in federal and state courts. Her practice involves substantive areas such as professional liability, general liability, insurance coverage, commercial law, and more.

Before joining Collins Einhorn, Simonne served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Kirsten Nielsen Hartig at the 52-4 District Court in Troy, Michigan. During her clerkship, Simonne performed legal research and drafted opinions on various civil and criminal law issues.

While in law school, Simonne competed on multiple moot court teams, served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Michigan State International Law Review, and served as a Peer Evaluator (teaching assistant) for research and writing courses for first-year law students. She earned jurisprudence achievement awards in her advocacy and business enterprises courses and was a finalist in the 2019 1L Donald Nystrom Best Brief Competition.

Simonne’s broad legal education included internships with the University of Michigan’s Office of the General Counsel and with BISSELL Homecare, Inc.
