Summary
Verelle is a member of the firm’s Transportation Liability Practice Group. His practice focuses on the defense of first-and-third-party automotive and other general liability matters. His experience includes handling all aspects of litigation for a variety of legal claims including auto no-fault, premises liability, and construction matters. Verelle has achieved successful outcomes for his clients before trial courts throughout Michigan. Kirkwood has a dual career as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, Captain in the Michigan Army National Guard. In the role of a JAG Officer, a dynamic set of skills is required to tackle the robust, evolving issues within the military context including providing legal and ethical advice (in accordance with Michigan law) to unit commanders on a variety of diverse legal issues affecting soldiers.
