One member of the team served 10 years as an associate counsel to Michigan’s Attorney Grievance Commission before joining the firm. He also served two terms as a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Ethics Committee and was a liaison to the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. Another member of the group has litigated numerous court cases and disciplinary proceedings that have shaped Michigan law on issues ranging from lawyers’ potential liability to judicial candidates’ free speech rights.
